Here is what happens to the information you enter on IncomeMatch, in plain English.
What we collect
Your answers to the four assessment questions, and — only if you choose to submit the form — your name, email address and phone number. We also record basic technical and campaign information such as your browser user agent, the page you landed on, the referring website and any advertising parameters in the URL (for example gclid, gbraid, wbraid and UTM tags), plus anonymous session and visitor identifiers used to measure how far people get through the check.
Who it is shared with
If you request a callback, your contact details and assessment answers may be shared with one independent partner firm so it can contact you. That firm is responsible for its own use of your data under its own privacy policy. We also use service providers that process data on our behalf, including our hosting and database provider and Google for advertising measurement. We do not sell your personal data.
How it is protected
Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored in an access-controlled database. Access to stored contact details is limited to authenticated administrators and enforced at the database level.
Cookies and measurement
We store a session identifier, a visitor identifier and any advertising parameters from your first visit in your browser so a later submission can be attributed to the right campaign. The site loads the Google Ads tag for conversion measurement. A conversion is only reported after a valid callback request has been recorded, and it contains a random reference for that request — never your name, email address or phone number.
How long it is kept
Callback requests are kept for as long as needed to handle the introduction and meet our record-keeping obligations, and are reviewed periodically. Submissions rejected by our validation checks are kept for 90 days and then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email privacy@incomematch.co.uk.
